Oregon Statutes - Chapter 283 - Interagency Services - Section 283.170 - Sale of steam heat to certain museums.

The Oregon Department of Administrative Services may sell excess steam heat to a museum that is tax exempt under state and federal law where the steam can be delivered to the museum property without significant impact on the state steam heating system. The proceeds of the sale may be used to meet costs of the system without specific appropriation thereof. [1979 c.712 §1]

Note: 283.170 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 283 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
