Oregon Statutes - Chapter 367 - Transportation Financing; Projects - Section 367.555 - Authority to issue general obligation bonds.

The Department of Transportation may request the State Treasurer to issue general obligation bonds of the State of Oregon used to provide funds to defray the costs of building and maintaining permanent roads, including the costs of location, relocation, improvement, construction and reconstruction of state highways and bridges, in an outstanding principal amount that is subject to the provisions of ORS 286A.035.
