The provisions of this chapter regarding the copying, inspection, disclosure or furnishing of vital records and vital reports also apply to all certificates or reports of birth, death, marriage, dissolution of marriage, fetal death, induced termination of pregnancy and suicide attempt by a person under 18 years of age received prior to October 4, 1997, by the Vital Statistics Unit or in the custody of any other custodian of vital records.
