To preserve vital records and vital reports, the State Registrar of the Center for Health Statistics is authorized to prepare typewritten, photographic, electronic or other reproductions of certificates or reports in the Center for Health Statistics. Such reproductions when verified and approved by the state registrar shall be accepted as original records, and the documents from which permanent reproductions have been made may be disposed of as provided by rule of the state registrar, rule of the Secretary of State and ORS 192.105.
