(1) Each county horticultural inspector and deputy inspector shall be paid for services by the county and actual necessary expenses incurred in the performance of duties. The county horticultural inspector and each deputy inspector shall report monthly to the State Department of Agriculture the time for which the inspector or deputy inspector is entitled to pay during the month for which such report is made, and a statement of actual necessary expenses incurred in the performance of duties as such inspector, and the department shall certify the report to the county court before such compensation and expenses shall be paid.

(2) The county court shall supply the county and deputy county horticultural inspectors with such blanks, stationery, postage, equipment and clerical hire as are needed in the performance of their official duties.
