(1) A person commits the crime of falsely signing a document for filing if the person signs a document knowing it is false in any material respect with intent that the document be delivered to the Office of the Secretary of State for filing.
(2) Violation of subsection (1) of this section is a Class B misdemeanor. [1989 c.1010 §§12,171]
