Oregon Statutes - Chapter 709 - Regulation of Trust Business - Section 709.160 - Solicitation and performance of legal business.

(1) A trust company shall not advertise to furnish or furnish to the public legal advice or hold itself out as practicing law.

(2) A trust company that violates subsection (1) of this section is ineligible for one year thereafter to be judicially appointed as a fiduciary in this state. [Amended by 1973 c.797 §195; 1975 c.544 §28; 1997 c.631 §211]
