- 2 - OPINION OF THE SPECIAL TRIAL JUDGE ARMEN, Special Trial Judge: This matter is before the Court on petitioner’s motion for leave to file a motion to vacate the stipulated decision of this Court entered on March 26, 1997. At issue is whether the Court lacked jurisdiction to enter the stipulated decision because petitioner neither authorized nor ratified the filing of the petition by its accountant. As explained in detail below, we shall deny petitioner’s motion for leave. FINDINGS OF FACT Some of the facts have been stipulated, and they are so found. The stipulated facts and attached exhibits are incorporated herein by this reference. Petitioner’s sole office was located in Highland Park, Illinois, at the time that its petition was filed with the Court. A. Trans World Travel, Inc. Trans World Travel (petitioner) is a C corporation that was formed in 1966. Since 1984, it has maintained a single office located at 734 Central Avenue, Highland Park, Illinois 60035 (the Highland Park office). Petitioner is engaged in the group tour travel business.
