- 32 - Subsequently, on July 18, 1988, with Hasman’s approval, Belofsky deposited a check for $80,000, drawn on the Sam Han account, to ANB No. 3, but Northwest was not made aware of the existence of the Sam Han account at this time.20 Northwest’s auditors uncovered the Sam Han account sometime shortly before September 2, 1988, when Hasman wrote Belofsky demanding an explanation.21 The Sam Han account was the subject of an amendment to the TRO sought by Northwest and granted on October 14, 1988, which specifically identified and “froze” it.
