Texas Government Code § 3103.002 Criteria For Awarding Medal

Sec. 3103.002. CRITERIA FOR AWARDING MEDAL. The medal shall be awarded to a resident of this state who:

(1) in an exemplary fashion, has displayed a commitment to the pioneer service principles of duty, honor, faith, and devotion to country and family; and

(2) through public service, has made outstanding contributions in pioneering the development, growth, and progress of this state.
