Sec. 1071.055. OFFICERS. (a) The governor shall designate one board member as the board's presiding officer to serve in that capacity at the pleasure of the governor.
(b) The board shall elect a member as assistant presiding officer at the first board meeting held after February 10 of each odd-numbered year.
