Texas Special District Local Laws Code § 5007.010 Name And Title Changes

Sec. 5007.010. NAME AND TITLE CHANGES. (a) The name of the Harris County Houston Ship Channel Navigation District of Harris County, Texas, is changed to the Port of Houston Authority of Harris County, Texas.

(b) The name of the Board of Navigation and the Canal Commissioners of the authority is changed to the port commission, and the title of each member is port commissioner.

(c) The title of general manager of the authority is changed to executive director.
