It shall be unlawful for any person to dig, take, cut, process, or otherwise collect, remove, transport, possess, sell, offer for sale, or give away any species native to or occurring in the wild in Virginia that are listed in this chapter or rules and regulations promulgated pursuant thereto as threatened or endangered, other than from such person's own land, except in accordance with this chapter or the rules and regulations adopted pursuant to this chapter by the Board.
