§ 33.1-255. Toll bridges; when privilege ceases
When an act is passed to authorize the erection of a toll bridge, if the work be not commenced within one year from the passage of such act or be not completed within two years after such commencement or if, after its completion, there be an abandonment of the bridge or a failure for three successive years to keep it in good order, the privileges granted by the act shall cease.
