Appeal No. 97-1931 Application 08/364,826 This is a decision on the appeal under 35 U.S.C. § 134 from the examiner's final rejection of claims 1-25, which constitute all the claims in the application. An amendment after final rejection was filed on January 2, 1996 and was entered by the examiner. This amendment resulted in the removal of a rejection of claims 9, 10 and 17 under 35 U.S.C. § 112 [Advisory Action, Paper #9]. The claimed invention pertains to an apparatus and method for ordering products from two or more suppliers. More particularly, the invention serves to minimize the cost of obtaining the products while complying with specific ordering requirements. Representative claim 1 is reproduced as follows: 1.
