Appeal No. 95-4486 Page 2 Application No. 08/158,713 BACKGROUND The appellants' invention relates to a prepackaged fluid- damping article for elastomeric mounts. An understanding of the invention can be derived from a reading of exemplary claim 6, which appears in the appendix to the appellants' brief. The prior art references of record relied upon by the examiner in rejecting the appealed claims are: Schubert 4,742,998 May 10, 1988 Kato et al. (Kato) 4,981,286 Jan. 1, 1991 Hoying et al. (Hoying) 4,991,826 Feb. 12, 1991 Claims 6 through 12 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 112, second paragraph, as being indefinite for failing to particularly point out and distinctly claim the subject matter which the appellants regard as the invention. Claim 6 stands rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 102(b) as being anticipated by Kato.
