Appeal No. 96-0162 Application 08/030,806 Claims 1 and 7-12 and 14-17 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 102(b) as being anticipated by Mayerjak. Rather than reiterate the entire arguments of the appellant and the examiner in support of their respective positions, reference is made to the Appellant’s Brief (Paper No. 9) and the Examiner’s Answer (Paper No. 11) for the full exposition thereof. OPINION In reaching our conclusions on the issues raised in this appeal, we have carefully considered appellant’s specification and claims, the applied references and the respective viewpoints advanced by the appellant and the examiner. As a consequence of our review, we have made the determinations which follow. Appellant’s claimed subject matter is a flexible coupling for connecting a driving and a driven rotary member. The coupling includes a first connecting means for connecting the coupling to the driving member and a second connecting means for connecting the coupling to the driven member.
