BACKGROUND
The appellants' invention relates to a device for
assuring equal distribution of two phase flow at piping
junctions (specification, p. 1). An understanding of the
invention can be derived from a reading of exemplary claim 1,
which is reproduced infra.

examiner in rejecting the appealed claims is:

Claims 1 through 3 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 112,
second paragraph, as failing to set forth the subject matter
which the appellants regard as their invention.
Claims 1 through 3 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. §
102(b) as being anticipated by Bachmann.
