Appeal No. 95-3800 Application 08/046,109 This is a decision on the appeal under 35 U.S.C. § 134 from the examiner’s rejection of claims 13-22, which constitute all the claims remaining in the application. An amendment after final rejection was filed on August 24, 1994 and was entered by the examiner. The disclosed invention pertains to a data processing system having a microprocessor and a memory. The memory stores special input/output control code for controlling input and output between the microprocessor and input/output devices. The microprocessor causes the special input/output control code to be executed each time an input/output instruction is executed by the microprocessor. Representative claim 13 is reproduced as follows: 13.
