Appeal No. 95-4966 Application No. 08/072,182 According to appellant, the invention is directed to a method of making a composite article with an electrically conductive surface comprising the steps of providing whisker- like structures on a substrate, encapsulating these structures, and delaminating this layer of encapsulated structures from the substrate (Brief, page 4). Claims 15 and 17 are illustrative of the subject matter on appeal and are reproduced below: 15.
