Appeal No. 1996-3386 Application No. 08/136,123 Appellants' invention relates to a magnetic head with alternating long and short projections and, between adjacent projections, conductive segments forming a helical coil around a magnetic core. Claim 1 is illustrative of the claimed invention, and it reads as follows: 1.
