Appeal No. 1998-0490 Application 08/543,057 top edge to the bottom edge of a sunshield to permit the planar elements to fold accordion-like. Consistent with the views we expressed, supra, this panel of the board does not discern any basis for a conclusion of obviousness relative to the claimed subject matter when Moll specifically instructs those versed in the art to fabricate a sunshade with longitudinal creases to permit quadrafolding of the sunshade. Accordingly, the rejection of claims 4, 9, and 10 must be reversed. We turn now to the rejection of claims 1 through 4, 9, 10, and 12 through 16 under 35 U.S.C. § 103 as being unpatentable over Kim in view of Romano. As to claim 1 (and claim 2 through 4 dependent thereon), we conclude that the evidence of obviousness would not have been suggestive of the claimed foldable sunshield.
