               The subject matter on appeal is directed to a system for               
          transferring a cushioning pad from a cushioning conversion                  
          machine (claims 1-8), to a cushioning conversion machine                    
          including a cushioning product transferring system (claims 9-               
          13 and 20) and to the combination of a table and a cushioning               
          conversion machine including a cushioning product transferring              
          system (claim 21).  A copy of the appealed claims is                        
          reproduced in an “Appendix” attached to the main brief.                     


               The prior art references of record relied upon by the                  
          examiner in rejecting the appealed claims are:
