Appeal No. 2000-2256 Application No. 09/069,377 OPINION In reaching our conclusion on the anticipation issue raised in this appeal, this panel of the board has carefully considered appellants' specification, drawings, and claims, the applied patent, and the respective viewpoints of appellants and the examiner. As a consequence of our review, we make the determination which follows. We do not sustain the rejection of claims 34 and 35. Our reasons appear below. As disclosed (specification, page 2), it is a feature of the present invention for an ink ribbon cartridge to have a flexible resilient housing wall within which the ink ribbon is based. The housing wall deflects resiliently when the cartridge is being inserted until the housing wall encounters a recess which causes the cartridge to detent essentially into its operating position.
