A process according to claim 1, wherein the oxidation of said dyeing composition occurs with the aid of a chemical oxidizing agent selected from the group consisting of: (i) hydrogen peroxide (ii) hydrogen peroxide adducts with urea, melamine, or sodium borate (iii) dispersions of potassium or ammonium peroxydisulfate; and (iv) periodates. 14.
