                                 DECISION ON APPEAL                                   


               This is an appeal from the final rejection of claims 63                
          and 77 through 81.  In a submission under 37 CFR § 1.129(a),                
          claims 63 and 79 through 81 were amended.                                   
               The disclosed invention relates to a method for                        
          correcting single bit hard errors in a stored digital data                  
          word of “n” bits.
