We refer to the final rejection (Paper No. 6) and the examiner's answer (Paper No. 13) (pages referred to as "EA__") for a statement of the examiner's rejection, and to the appeal brief (Paper No. 11) (pages referred to as "Br__") and reply brief (Paper No. 14) (pages referred to as "RBr__") for a statement of appellants' arguments thereagainst. OPINION Grouping of claims The claims are grouped as follows (Br5): (1) claims 1, 3-12, 15-25, 28, and 29, stand or fall together with representative claim 1; (2) claim 2 stands or falls alone; and (3) claims 13, 14, 26, and 27 stand or fall together with representative claim 13. Claims 1, 3-12, 15-25, 28, and 29 Metroka discloses a data entry device for a keyless electronic device, such as a cellular telephone in the preferred embodiment of figure 1. Metroka discloses that the input device may be used by other electronic devices too small to use a normal keypad, including pagers (col. 8, lines 32-37).
