Appeal No. 2002-1792 Page 4 Application No. 09/467,577 anticipates a claim must focus on what subject matter is encompassed by the claim and what subject matter is described by the reference. As set forth by the court in Kalman v. Kimberly-Clark Corp., 713 F.2d 760, 772, 218 USPQ 781, 789 (Fed. Cir. 1983), cert. denied, 465 U.S. 1026 (1984), it is only necessary for the claims to "'read on' something disclosed in the reference, i.e., all limitations of the claim are found in the reference, or 'fully met' by it." Claims 1, 9, 10, 11 and 19 read as follows: 1. An air conveyor guide rail comprising: an elongate plate having top and bottom edges and upstream and downstream edges, a plurality of openings through the plate within the top, bottom, upstream and downstream edges of the plate for allowing a free flow of air through the plate, and attachment means for attaching the plate to the air conveyor. 9. The air conveyor guide rail of Claim 1, wherein: the top and bottom edges of the plate are parallel to each other and the upstream and downstream edges of the plate are parallel to each other. 10. Air conveyor guide rails comprising: a pair of elongated plates, each plate having top and bottom edges and upstream and downstream edges, a plurality of openings through each plate within the top, bottom, upstream and downstream edges of each plate for allowing a free flow of air through the plate, and attachment means for attaching the plate to the air conveyor. 11.
