BARRY, Administrative Patent Judge. DECISION ON APPEAL A patent examiner rejected claims 1-5. The appellant appeals therefrom under 35 U.S.C. § 134(a). We affirm-in-part. BACKGROUND The invention at issue concerns data structures for data relating to entities that "may or may not be known beforehand." (Spec. at 1.) According to the appellant, a data structure called a "relational database" has been used to manage such data heretofore. (Id.)
