Claims 78-86 and 88-92 Background Interference No. 103,987 was declared on November 4, 1997 with a time period for filing preliminary motions and preliminary statements set to end on February 18, 1998. In a decision on preliminary motions entered on September 30, 1998, the Administrative Patent Judge (APJ), inter alia, added another count, count 2, to the interference and added another Lim patent to the interference as corresponding to the additional count 2.
