DECISION ON APPEAL
This is a decision on appeal from the final rejection of
claims 1-22, all the claims pending in the instant application.
Invention
The invention relates to electronic price label systems.
Electronic price labels display the price of corresponding
merchandise items on store shelves and are typically attached to
a rail along the leading edge of the shelves. A store may
contain thousands of electronic price labels to display the
prices of merchandise items. The electronic price labels are
coupled to a central server from where information about the
