Van Clifton Martin 3,555,348 Jan. 12, 1971 Claims 1-11 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) as being unpatentable over Appellant's admitted prior art in view of Martin. Rather than reiterate the conflicting viewpoints advanced by the examiner and appellant regarding the above-noted rejection, we make reference to the examiner's answer (Paper No. 20, mailed September 17, 2001) for the examiner's complete reasoning in support of the rejection, and to appellant's brief (Paper No. 19, filed August 13, 2001) and reply brief (Paper No. 21, filed November 13, 2001) for appellant's arguments thereagainst.
