This is a decision on appeal under 35 U.S.C. §134 from the examiner's final
rejection of claims 5-22, which are all of the claims pending in this application.

5. A method of preparing a stabilized osmotic agent comprising the following
steps:
providing a solution of starch dissolved in water and
adding NaBH4 to the starch solution to reduce the starch.
