DECISION ON APPEAL
This is a decision on appeal from the examiner's final
rejection of claims 39 through 72, which are all of the claims
pending in this application.
Appellants' invention relates to a disconnect mechanism used
when a software application requests input from a user so that
the requesting software application need not wait for the input.
Claim 39 is illustrative of the claimed invention, and it reads
as follows:
39. A computer system for communicating between a plurality of
web browsers and a software application, said computer system
