Appeal No. 2004-1330 Application 09/538,089 information learned in the course is applied in the simulations. The welding simulation is a "work-related project" where students are being prepared to be welders. The specification does not provide a definition which would exclude a project involving manual tasks, like the welding simulation in Brush, instead of non-manual tasks such as writing or calculating. While it is argued that a "work-related project is a project outside of the theoretic environment of the classroom" (Br5), the claims do not preclude the project from being performed in the classroom. Appellants do not discuss why the simulations are not "work- related projects," as broadly claimed. Brush also has a final Learning Block No. 9 for certification which is a composite of different sections of the course (col. 17, line 60 to col. 18, line 49). Appellants do not dispute that this final learning block is a "second examination after completion of said project." For the reasons stated above, we conclude that no error has been shown in the examiner's finding of anticipation. The rejection of claims 1-7 is affirmed.
