               1. A method of composing an image, the method comprising
          the steps of:
               establishing a set of image samples [IS] from a set of image
          sample values [SV] and geometrical parameters [V];
               initialization [INIT] in which a mask [MSK] is generated
          from the geometrical parameters [V];
               mapping [MAP] in which a set of image sample values [SV] is
          mapped on a set of image samples [IS], in which the mask [MSK]
          intervenes in this mapping.
