The Examiner advised applicant that claim 20 would be allowable if written in independent form to include all the limitations of the claims from which they depend. 54. The Examiner further advised applicant that: In applicant’s remarks applicant states that claim 10 has been amended to include the limitations thought to be responsible for the allowance of claim 7. This has not been found to be so as many of the limitations of claim 7 have been left out of amended claim 10. 55. On October 30, 1996, applicant filed an amendment responding to the Examiner's Final Office action. 56. As shown in Appendix 4 of this opinion, the amendment: (1) canceled claims 16, 19, and 20; and (2) amended claim 10. 57. After entry of the amendment, the application claims were 1-6 and 8-15. 58. In the amendment, applicant stated as follows: Claim 10 has been rewritten to include the limitations of claims 16, 19 and 20. Accordingly, claims 16, 19 and 20 have been cancelled. . . .
