Appeal No. 2005-0642 Application No. 09/568,278 34. Claims 5, 13, and 15 were rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103 as being unpatentable over Sugawara in view of the following prior art: (1) Seevers, U.S. Patent 3,146,011. 35. Sugawara and Seevers are prior art vis-à-vis applicant under 35 U.S.C. § 102(b). 36. Plosz and Wiethorn are prior art vis-à-vis applicant under 35 U.S.C. § 102(a). 37. The Examiner found that Sugawara, Plosz, and Wiethorn “clearly anticipated” one or more or claims 1-4, 6, 10-14, and 16-18. 38. However, the Examiner found that Sugawara, Plosz, and Wiethorn do not disclose said latch further including at least one catch beam extending through another of said slots, said catch beams defining catch edges which engage catch surfaces defined by said another of said slots to secure said latch in said latched position. 39.
