The Examiner has rejected the claims as obvious. We have jurisdiction under 35 U.S.C. § 6(b). We affirm. BACKGROUND The building block of a terpene is isoprene, which has the following structure: CH2=C(CH3)-CH=CH2. Hydrocarbon terpenes therefore have the molecular formula (C5H8)n. (Specification 1.)
