SUMMARY
The Specification does not disclose a specific and substantial utility
for the PRO1760-specific antibodies of claims 28-32, as required by
35 U.S.C. § 101. We therefore affirm the Examiner’s rejection of the claims
under § 101, and the corresponding rejection under § 112, first paragraph.
No time period for taking any subsequent action in connection with
this appeal may be extended under 37 C.F.R. § 1.136(a)(1)(iv) (2006).
