Appeal 2007-1676 Application 10/439,183 11. A golf club head comprising: a metal head body defining a hollow portion and an opening portion; and a metal piece including tungsten alloy, wherein the metal piece is joined to the opening portion by arc- welding the metal piece to the opening portion, and wherein the metal head body is made of stainless steel, and wherein the metal piece includes the following compositions based on the total weight of the metal piece: tungsten in a range of 28wt% - 32wt%; iron in a range of 45wt% - 49wt%; nickel in a range of 15wt% - 17wt%; and copper in a range of lwt% - 3wt%; and wherein the sum of amount of tungsten, iron, nickel, and copper in the metal piece is in a range of 93wt% to 98wt%.
