Moreover, Didchenko does not specify the level of PAH in the low sulfur precursor pitch feedstock it produces. However, Didchenko’s disclosure is directed to persons having ordinary skill in the art, with all reasonably attributable knowledge of the art (Didchenko, col. 3, ll. 4-21; emphasis added): It would be desirable to subject the high sulfur decant oil to a hydrodesulfurization in accordance with known processes such as taught in U.S. Pat.
