(Id. at 2). 11) Mr. Kawamura testifies that he did not even consider eliminating the submerged support rolls from his device due to his belief that it would increase the number of defects on the metal strip. (Id.). 2. Mr. Noboru Taguchi 12) Mr. Taguchi testifies that he holds a Master of Engineering degree. (Taguchi Declaration, p. 1). 13) Mr. Taguchi testifies that he has spent over thirty (30) years working in the steel industry including working in a coated steel technology department. (Id.). 14) Mr. Taguchi states that he now holds a position as the Manager of the Sheet and Strip Business Planning Department of the JFE Steel Corporation. (Id.). 15) Mr. Taguchi declares that when he read Kawamura he understood that “submerged support rolls must be included in the system disclosed therein.” (Id. at 2). 16) Mr. Taguchi declares that all CGLs operating in Japan at the time of the invention were equipped with submerged support rolls.
