They do not disclose “the supplier segmenting the catalog file into a plurality of sequential segments and sending the catalog file segments to the catalog gateway, wherein each catalog file segment is numbered and includes a flag denoting whether or not the catalog segment is the last catalog file segment, the catalog gateway acknowledging each catalog file segment received from the supplier, the catalog gateway reassembling the catalog file segments into the catalog file and storing the catalog file in a local storage,” i.e., step b) of claim 1. 3. The Examiner found that “Yamazoe does not expressly disclose parsing or segmenting the catalog data.” (Answer 8). 4. The Examiner relied on Vittal to show segmenting. “The Vittal reference is used to modify the method of Yamazoe to teach segmenting the catalog data and transferring through a gateway before reassembly and use at an aggregator … .” Answer 8. The Examiner directed attention to Figures 4 and 7 and col. 10, ll. 10- 54 of Vittal. 5. Figures 4 and 7 and col. 10, ll. 10-54 of Vittal show segmenting and an aggregator. 6.
