Appeal 2007-4316 Application 09/911,268 A. Introduction Applicants ("Eckel") appeal under 35 U.S.C. § 134 from the final rejection of claims 1–17, all of the pending claims, as unpatentable under 35 U.S.C. §§ 102(b), (e), and 103(a) in view of prior art. We have jurisdiction under 35 U.S.C. § 6(b). We REVERSE. The subject matter on appeal relates to flame resistant polycarbonate compositions characterized by a low quantity of a particular organophosphate impurity. Claim 1 is representative and reads as follows: 1.
