Oregon Statutes - Chapter 329 - Oregon Educational Act for the 21st Century; Educational Improvement and Reform - Section 329.190 - Advisory committee.

The Department of Education shall establish an advisory committee composed of interested parents and representatives from the State Commission on Children and Families, health care profession, early childhood education and development staff preparation programs, Oregon Head Start Association, school districts, community colleges, Early Intervention Council, child care and other organizations. The purpose of the advisory committee is to provide advice to the department on matters related to the Oregon prekindergarten program. 329.190. The Department of Education and the Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development shall establish an advisory committee composed of interested parents and representatives from the State Commission on Children and Families, health care profession, early childhood education and development staff preparation programs, Oregon Head Start Association, school districts, community colleges, Early Intervention Council, child care and other organizations as considered necessary by the Department of Education and the Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development to assist with the establishment of the Oregon prekindergarten program.
