§ 3.1-459. (Repealed effective October 1, 2008) Penalties

Any person violating any provision of this article or of any license issued by the Commission shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and may be prosecuted and punished therefor, and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $100, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not less than thirty days nor more than one year, or by both fine and imprisonment. Each day during which such violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate violation. Prosecutions shall be instituted by the attorney for the Commonwealth, or otherwise, in any county or city of the Commonwealth in which the provisions of this article are in effect.
