§ 15.2-1746. Duty of district judge; may bind to good behavior, etc
In all cases arising under § 15.2-1745, the district judge before whom the person so arrested is brought shall examine the case and dispose of it according to law. If he thinks the person so apprehended ought to enter into a recognizance to keep the peace and be of good behavior, he shall require him to do so, and in default thereof such person may be committed to jail.
