A. The rejection based on Geil
Claim 1 stands rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 102(b) as
anticipated by Geil. The examiner reads claim 1 on the reference
as follows (final Office action at 2-3):
Geil discloses in Figs. 5 and 6, a surface-
laminated piezoelectric-film transducer, comprising: a
thin film of piezoelectric material (PVF ) , two thin 2 [4]
films of conductive material (28 and 29 or copper foil
