This comparison also reveals that pending claim 2 recites the step of passing a binding filament through the ribbon proximate the edge which claim 7 from U.S. Patent No. 4,901,661 does not recite. It is our opinion that it would have been obvious to one of ordinary skill in the art to pass the binding filament of claim 7 from U.S. Patent No. 4,901,661 through the ribbon proximate the edge in order to reduce the amount of binding filament needed to secure the wire filament to the edge.
